He couldn't get guns on me and I couldn't match his energy. This is how I met MOBB trying to kill him, it was a stalemate.

I find them boring and tedious.Īt the same killing someone using joystick who knows what they are doing in RB is incredibly difficult also. I did Sims for a long time also and what I found out once I got past the learning curve is I don't like them. You guys may not respect it but that goes both ways. And that is why I say it's a different game. If it was there would not be the huge skill gap we have in RB. But killing another MA player who knows what they are doing is not easy. Killing someone like you with joystick trying to fly the traditional way is easy. And those condescending remarks are what start the salt. You guys see mouse aim as too easy and make a lot of remarks about that. You know I'm all for balance as long is does not take away from MA. I have outlined above why this is important to all of us, if you have the critical thinking skills to understand why youll see it the same way. You should be advocating that all control methods be balanced, not blaming the player for doing what he or she prefers. You are choosing to divide instead of unite. You are blaming the player while ignoring the bigger issue which affects us all. You are pushing the blame on the player and not the imbalanced framework, and thats not right. The real issue at hand is that whatever options or preference that players have, those options should be balanced. If RC were removed from RB, I would quit the game (which is why Im here on the forums advocating for change). I am flying with RC because Gaijin gives me the option, and quite frankly, there is no other option in my eyes. We dont like mouse aim, its too simple and its basically like flying a TOW missle. You have no right to bash me or others for having that preference. I am choosing to fly the plane the way I want to fly it, the way Ive played flight sims for the last 25 years - flying the plane yourself. You and I both like RB for the same reasons and we both have legitimate reasons to be here. It would be selfish for me to tell you to go play AB, like it is selfish and a non-starter for others to tell me to go play SB. I understand that having more players makes a better game so Ive come to the understanding that MA and RC must both exist in RB - each of us has a right to enjoy how he or she will get the greatest amount of satisfaction. However, that does not mean I am not also a realist - MA is successful and it does attract players. We cry about MA because we see it as the dumbing down of an experience that we've enjoyed for decades - maybe thats because we are old and stuck in our ways, maybe thats because I and others prefer steeper learning curves, but its true - I lament Mouse Aims existence for a host of reasons - but imbalance is the only relevant reason in the context of this discussion, the rest belong in the "personal preference" category. Yes I think we are both in agreement but on opposite sides of the issue.
